Love these brushes. I had to replace my entire brush collection after it was stolen while on vacation. Thought this would be a great replacement while I refresh my collection of quality brushes. To be honest I was shocked at how good these brushes are. They blend like an absolute dream, are very easy to apply, absorb just the right amount of product, are super soft on the face and feel great in the hands. To be honest I'm in love with these brushes.

As everyone has mentioned, some combed hair has sticky hairs that stick up and mine also smelled like Mike's chemical when it arrived. Since I'm pregnant, I immediately washed the brushes with soap and brush cleaner and let them dry. After cleaning, the smell is gone forever. Very soft hair and no shedding. All brush handles were very reliable. Haven't used them yet but straight out of the box they seem very good for the price. The brushes themselves have no chemical/factory smell. The case has the usual faux leather and plastic smell, but that doesn't bother me at all. Although you pay for what you get, I was VERY SATISFIED with what I got. I received the brushes as scheduled and they were packaged in a plastic bag that was properly wrapped.
