Great 16oz plastic bottle cage holds up to 40oz Camelbak Chute

Bought for my husband he wanted an external bottle cage for his 5.11 12 hour rush. The main use was for his camelbak 40oz chute, but he used several bottle sizes from 0.5 to 1.5 liters for water and fizzy drinks. The bottle hasn't fallen off yet. He loves this MOLLE compatible gear.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Legacy model

Pleasantly surprised

I have to say I was skeptical at first as the design of this bag seems overly complicated. But in practice it is quite easy to use. The assembly is SOLID. You won't get the loose and springy feel you get from other bottle bags. And what I like best is that when you don't need to store the bottle yet, the case can lie flat and out of the way. For the money this item is just amazing.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Turns out I love it

I took the risk and bought it not knowing if I would like it or not. But in the end I was very satisfied. It shrinks when not in use and can be adjusted to a custom fit for whatever you put inside. I use it primarily for a 32 ounce stainless steel Nalgene backpacker flask, but it can also carry my Stanley cook set. For the latter, I stuffed everything into a small duffel bag that fits neatly into the Vanquest mount.

Pros
  • Delightful
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Versatile, Compact and Stylish MOLLE Bottle Cage

Great design in terms of adding a bottle cage to a Goruck pouch or any bag with PALS/MOLLE shoulder straps. It can be adjusted to fit any water bottle including mine which is 64 oz. The only downside to this is the durability of the hole through which the cords are threaded. After a few uses, the material may start to tear. It would be nice if they took this into account and plugged it with a grommet

Not just for water bottles! So versatile!

After reading many positive reviews I bought this bottle cage for my fishing gear. My bag is small, there is almost no room for a water bottle. I also like how it folds up when not in use and doesn't get in the way or snag on brushes or bushes. I have also found it very useful as a rod holder when traveling to remote areas or when I simply need another rod. He can also wear my raincoat or light down jacket. So many uses. It's just a nice expandable bag.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Ideal for small packages! Has many uses besides water bottles.

Perfect for my Maxpedition Rift Point. The only thing I would wish for is a different price for the velcro at the bottom. When not in use, it closes with Velcro and looks nice and compact. If it had one more detail on the bottom so it doesn't swell when not in use, that would be perfect. I plan on getting another one for the other side of my pack and returning the maxpediton xbp as I like Vanquest better. It's more expensive than what it is and does, but I'm sure it will last a lot longer than…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Outstanding design!

I am very happy with this purchase. Exceptional design and materials. It adapts very easily to a 40 ounce bottle. I use it on a molle vest that I have outfitted for metal detection. The straps and molle buttons are high quality and not as wide as the vest straps. This makes it very easy to mount and remove a molle vest or backpack. The length of the straps is perfect, which means the buckles line up perfectly when fully weaved through the straps of a backpack or vest. Anyone who has molle gear…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Almost never

Agree with all other positive reviews

Yes, that's great. Love that it can flatten out when not in use; I like that it's low and light; love that it can hold different sized bottles (or other items); I like that it can be clipped to a belt or used as a molle while not being too bulky to just toss in a pocket when you're in a hurry and need to get on and go. If you save every ounce, this is your water carrier. It even works really well for those military style bean bottles - even with the bottle's own insulating coating! He has one…
