I found the tray difficult to remove

This is a great case if you want to run multiple operating systems on one computer. I have 3 SSDs. One for Windows 7, one for Linux and the main tray for Windows 10. I can shut down the computer and remove one tray and then put in another for a completely different operating system. I have to take two clamps and squeeze them together to remove the tray. I broke the clamp on one side but the tray still works. I didn't have the bad contact problems that some people talk about. I have a 5.25 inchโ€ฆ

Perfect solution for internal hard drives

I bought 2 of these for 2 separate builds and love them. This last purchase was for a workstation upgrade at work. I didn't have room for 3.5" hard drives and had to add an SSD for the operating system. With this device, you can use the 5.25 inch rack bays to accommodate 2 SSDs. Of course, you must also have 2 SATA ports. I've seen complaints about the brightness of the front LEDs, but since the tower I'm doing this in isn't in my line of sight, I can't comment on that. I mean it seems brightโ€ฆ

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Slightly torn

MUCH makes my life easier!

OK. I now have 8 of these and use them regularly on a variety of my own and client computers. You are fantastic. The trays are a little flimsy so you need to be careful with them. Also, this device ONLY works well with motherboards and operating systems that support SATA Hot Swap. If the card or operating system does not support it, you MUST refrain from inserting/removing drives while the system is powered on. I use them on old Windows 98se systems, Windows XP systems, Windows 7 systems andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Crumpled

Like Electronics

I've had them for over 2 months now and they work very well. They are plastic, so you need to be careful when installing an SSD. I've inserted and removed the SSD many times and had no problems. The SSD must be fully seated (sometimes you think it's seated but it's missing by 1/8 inch). When installing, be sure to tighten the screws as tightly as possible without damaging the plastic. which you press at the end to release the SSD (I broke 2 door types because the plastic lever broke whenโ€ฆ

Great 2.5 SATA drive rack - I bought 2

You couldn't ask for a simpler design, yet one that delivers all the functionality you need in a rack/chassis/dual drive bay 2.5 SATA. The bay design is ideal for drive replacement in both ways: swap out a physical drive or replace bays (additional bays are available if needed). The LED indicators are very bright but can be useful in a dark server room. Airflow and cooling are designed to use the case for cooling, or you can add a fan or two with some modifications - it's not really necessaryโ€ฆ

Pros
  • . Many will fit
Cons
  • Factor Set

Great product for the price!

For this price range, the value is simply unbeatable. Yes, if you're willing to shell out $100 for it, there are much better devices out there. The cage itself is very durable. The trays aren't too bad but I can see where some of the complaints are coming from. Just don't hold it in your hands, squeeze the tabs together and then pull it out and it won't break. This device is truly amazing for the price. I use this for a number of backup drives on my Media Center PC that also acts as a serverโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Working speed

Fits 15mm 2.5 " rims, better without screws. ONLY SATA I or II (!)

I was looking for a trayless hot swap solution for a Pair of large (15mm) Seagate 2.5" 4TB hard drives I own. It wasn't my first choice as it was relatively cheap, but I really couldn't find anything else to go with these thick drives would (no tray) so I went ahead and bought a few. While it's not completely trayless, the trays don't have screws so the drives can be easily plugged in and unplugged. In every way it's as trayless as it gets without actually being tabletless. I'm giving it 5โ€ฆ

Pros
  • High support and durability scores from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
