Awkward to use - you have to wait for it to warm up, then adjust the sensitivity and hold it properly to get a reading. But it was cheap and great for my use when testing sapphire watches.

This is a bit annoying depending on the weather or other situations like using a fan or air conditioning, it tends to affect the Diamond Tester readings a bit. This was the worst product I've bought from Revain. I tried to give it 0 stars but it wouldn't let me. I turn down the volume, the light goes out and when the volume is at its lowest level (before the reader turns off) nothing is primed at all.
