fell apart in hands

very bad quality. The soldering points on two devices literally fell into my hands. I soldered probably 300 XLR cable ties and this has never happened.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • you could choose a newer model

Great price for $$$

I bought these for my church renovation. The metal is thinner than Neutrik's, so I wouldn't use them for cables that aren't permanently installed. So certainly not on microphone cables. I had no problems with solder contacts and melted plastic. Good price if you understand their limitations.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Does the job for beginners

Below average metal thickness (very thin) These should only be used for short runs (24" and under) or if you're not too concerned about sound quality (video game / low budget -podcast). If you're using it for a temporary fix or for budget reasons, that's fine. hp Perfect for beginners :)

Pros
  • Same as all so far
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Good but not great. Definitely good for the price.

Not bad. I've been working with pro audio for about 20 years and have had both good jacks and crappy jacks. While not top notch, they appear to be decent. I don't know if I would trust them for a mobile show where they get abused every day, but they're fine for studio or installed systems.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

I found them unreliable enough to throw them away.

They went straight into the trash as soon as I tried to use them. As others have complained, I've had no trouble melting plastic when using a Hakko soldering iron at 750 degrees. However, the metal pin that acts as a spring to release the cable for working on sockets often falls out when the plugs are mated and when it does it can short out some of the connections internally. Once this happens, it will take some fiddling to recover. Can be used, but be careful not to use a cable with a thicker…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
