They worked well but 6 weeks later I had to throw away both brushes due to black deposits (probably mould?) on the wood. I used a lot of brushes, maybe that's a factor.

looks like a great vegetable brush. have not tried it for this purpose. I will use it to remove the layer of charcoal after the wood has been fired to show the texture before finishing.

I bought these vegetable brushes because they looked like vegetable brushes before. Double package for me, one for my sister. We both love this brush. Vegetables clean right. The bristles are excellent.

I bought this to peel farmer's ham. He did a great job, better than expected BUT. I couldn't get rid of the rustic ham smell from the brush. I've tried soaking, vinegar, baking soda, ozone; Nothing worked. After 4 days I gave up and let it go.

I bought this brush because it seemed to me a good choice as an alternative to a brush containing plastic that I want to get rid of as much as possible. So disappointed in him. The bristles are so soft I feel like they can't clean very well. The wood cracked and splintered, and I'm sure it will splinter soon. I never leave it in the water and put it in a bowl with the bristles, but the wood never dries out completely. Sorry I went ahead and bought two thinking I was saving money.
