Looks good during the day but awful at night. Worth the money for cosmetics if you only drive during the day. Useless at night. A sticker that covers the button but doesn't let any light through, at least not a lot of light. Save money and order genuine replacements instead of stickers to hide worn buttons.

Take the extra time to remove what's left of your worn button cover, then follow the installation instructions and you'll have no problem. The challenge is getting them perfectly lined up (I'm a little anal about this). They're stickers, but properly aligned, you don't notice it that much. You won't even notice it after a few days. They look MUCH better than the bare/heavily worn buttons that were on the car.

Great product. I bought these to fix worn knobs on my wife's 2007 Tahoe. They were very easy to install and matched the original buttons perfectly. Personal recommendation: DO NOT remove all of the original paint before installation. Wipe the buttons with alcohol and let them dry. Align and attach decal. It's been 2 months since I put them on and they still look amazing. The glue is very strong and easy to apply.

I used them on two '07 and '08 Tahoes. The knobs on many Chevy/GM cars are worn out from what I've read. Clean with alcohol, let dry, remove dust, I lined the sticker with tweezers. Most importantly, make sure it is perfectly aligned before sticking any part of the sticker on the button. Even if the corner of the sticker touches it, it will peel off the original sticker, rendering your new sticker useless.

Please rate what you are buying before you buy it. Once you've erased the buttons, this is the sticker you'll stick over the top of the lantern to try and match the original theme of the original buttons. Easy to apply no matter how well you prepare the surface. It will look bad at night because it isn't OEM - it will display multiple different colors and show through poorly. It looks pretty good during the day, as you can see from other reviewers' photos.

These stickers fit very well and are a quick and inexpensive fix for poorly painted GM knobs that lose their color after a few years. However, they don't completely cover the shape of the button and you can see some raised edges. And when the key backlights are on, there's a faded green glow from behind that stands out against the black on the new decal. So it's not a perfect repair, it's an easy and inexpensive way to make your knobs "better".

When I first took the sticker out of the box I immediately liked the way it looked. I've been waiting for the weekend to put these decals on so I can take my time and do the chores of cleaning and preparing the unit for proper use.
