Review on 🧰 Restore & Refresh: GM AC Dash Button Repair Kit for Suburban & Chevy Tahoe (2007-2015) by Juan Axum

When I first took the sticker out of the box I immediately liked the way it looked. I've been waiting for the weekend to put these decals on so I can take my time and do the chores of cleaning and preparing the unit for proper use. I removed the HVAC control box from my pickup to simplify the process. After scraping off the old paint, I thoroughly cleaned the surfaces with cotton swabs soaked in rubbing alcohol. After everything was dry I started peeling off the stickers as needed. I used tweezers to remove the sticker from a separate button from the backing paper. The first two stickers came off just fine, but unfortunately on the next one the paper surface separated from the adhesive backing rendering it unusable. The fourth button sticker started peeling off in the same way. I was eventually able to use the fourth sticker, but glue was used to fix the separation. I found the glue too good. either that, or the rating wasn't low enough. I gave up preparing the HVAC control box for the rest of the buttons after realizing that many of the other stickers wouldn't peel off the back properly despite my care. In the end it was just a waste of time. Time. I should have just used a felt tip pen to fill in the paint that was scraped off. Maybe someone else is luckier than me.
