👗 Set of 10 Velvet Hangers in 8 Assorted Colors, Including Black Review

I really liked these hangers until I started using them for less than a month. The metal top of the hanger is separated from the purple hanger body into 2 hangers. Even superglue and gorilla glue weren't effective at fixing hangers.

They have to be the best. durable (could hold my thickly lined winter coat) but able to hold even the lightest of items without slipping. Large enough for shirts, dresses, pants. all in one place!

So I replaced all my clothes hangers with kid sized wooden hangers that fit in my compact closet as the plastic hangers ripped easily. that was a warning to me. Replace any plastic parts that just fall apart.

Overall I really like velvet hangers BUT they were the worst I've ever bought. After 6 weeks 3 hangers broke while the tops were drying on them. On three other hangers, a hook just fell out as I hung up the bodice. The hooks seem to screw in, so each time I tried screwing the hook back into the top of the hanger. I could do that with this, but as soon as I hung the top on the hanger and hung it in the closet, the hook fell out again. We're talking about summer tops or t-shirts, not sweaters…

I have bought several versions of these stylish hangers over the years and this set is as good as the original Huggable hangers. The flocking is evenly applied and holds up well, and the strength of the actual hanger is great. They are also the same size so everything in the closet hangs the same. I use different colors to organize clothes for different occasions, so the fact that they are the same but different is perfect for that. I have a double clothes rail that hangs on the first one and…
