I have been eyeing some silicone bands for quite some time now. I am very picky and can be bothered by textures or thick rings on my fingers, so I was hesitant to buy them for a long time. I'm so bummed. For the first couple months my cats LOVED this thing. Battery life is great, we only put it on the random setting (it's the only setting with a 15min auto shut off). After awhile they didn't play with it, but the noises still got them amped so we'd throw their toys out and turned it on and they knew it was play time. I have a 6 month maltese, when he was much smaller I ordered a medium size, as you can see in the picture with the two jackets hanging. You can try to see the length between the two. I reordered the same style but in large because my maltese grew, he's now 28 and a half inches tall when he stands up. The large size fits him perfectly as of now. Hope this is helpful.
