The faucet works but there is no ventilation.

Like a faucet, great. But like a little faucet, okay. Just make sure you vent the bottle to let air in or you'll block it. Bought 2. They feel durable. Can not complain. Remember you will need a drill to cut the hole in the bottle cap. I've seen people outraged by this. Why, I'm not sure. The best valve for these containers

I didn't realize this when I bought it, but the entire valve rotates around the same axis as the threads on the container. This means you can tighten it and still have the valve pointing down! The valve itself opens and closes very easily in a controlled manner. Great success. For any people complaining about having to drill out the lid on the jug, I only recommend flipping the lid over and opening it from the back. You can poke a few small holes and take it out, use a big drill and stop asโ€ฆ

Works Great!: Kitchen & Bath Supplies

Drilling the large cap on the bottle was the hardest part. There is a small spot on the bottle where I can poke an air hole and it comes with a small cap to keep it closed. I found that they have devised a way for the air to return from the faucet to the bottle when the water comes out. Pouring a small hole in the bottle helps the water come out quicker, but for my purposes it's not much different. Now it's not the faucet's fault, but I have found that I have to be careful when screwing the cap
