Big! Blank Media Compatible Electronics

I need to test a Blu-ray video on my PS3 using my own recordings and I don't want to dig through a ton of BD-Rs. The first format with Imgburn takes almost an hour, but that's okay. If you write afterwards, just overwrite the data instead of formatting it each time. Is working.

Pros
  • Laser Technology: Verbatim Blu-ray Discs use blue-violet laser technology to read and write data.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Great disc from a trusted company

I've been a fan of Verbatim media for several years because of their affordable price and reliability. So when I was looking for BD-RE media, I started my search at Verbatim. Generally the same excellent quality. I've erased and burned my discs multiple times without incident. I mainly used it to review home videos before burning them to non-erasable media. Overall the results were great and I've played them on both the PS3 and other computers. Of course, only time will tell how long these…

Pros
  • That means superb resolution, great contrast, vibrant colors and amazing sound
Cons
  • Nothing here

Quality media at a reasonable price

Unfortunately, blank Blu-Ray media is still insanely expensive (especially -RE discs), but I find this particular media very cheap compared to some other products. I also trust the Verbatim name as I have never had a problem with any of the brand's carriers. This disc, which I bought to experiment with 3D Blu-ray movie production, is no exception. I've been able to write, rewrite, and read from it with no problems so far.

Pros
  • Capacity: Verbatim's single layer Blu-ray Disc offers up to 25 GB of storage space to back up videos, music, photos and more.
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Still the best blank media

Verbatim still prefers magnetic media and I'm no exception. and erased several times with the LG burner without any problems. They're great for initial testing or for media that you might change your mind about later.

Pros
  • So you use fewer discs when backing up, capturing or duplicating HD digital recordings
Cons
  • Clarity

Verbatim 25GB BD-RE Disc

The disc works very well. The first and second copies of the DVD were perfect. I had problems with the third copy. It turned out to be a clean disk issue. BD-RE is very sensitive to dirt. Reusing or adding more data depends a lot on whether you have an empty hard drive. So also invest in microfiber towels and maybe a coated lens cleaning solution.

Pros
  • Rewritable: This rewritable single layer Blu-ray Disc is designed to burn and rewrite data up to 1000 times with BD-R hardware
Cons
  • There are problems

7 out of 10 packages have cracked and become unusable.

You would expect surface problems, but they developed numerous tears from the center hole to the outer edge. I've used several Sony, TDK, and Revain RW CDs and DVDs on multiple drives over the years and never had any problems other than a few superficial errors here and there. But no cracks. Buy other extra expensive Bluray discs.

Pros
  • Hard Coating - All Verbatim Blu-ray discs are coated with an extra hard coating to prevent scratches, fingerprints and dust build-up.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
