I bought this to use with an old I7-950 processor to get some additional cooling options over to get rid of the stock Intel cooler. With slight overclocking, the processor's temperature reaches 65-80°C, which leads to random shutdowns / freezes. I figured this would offer better performance based on the advertised 125W TDP. Installation required considerable pressure and maneuver given the tight confines of the plastic tab/clip system. Compact size, price and decent finish are pluses.

A good, inexpensive air cooler in the style of Noctua.

As seen in Jayztwocent's review. He said it's a great cooler for a low price. In fact, it really is. For $20, it keeps my second computer's CPU temperature between 30 and 50 degrees. The downside is that the fan is not argb. But for this price, who cares, the performance is way better than the stock cooler you probably got with your CPU.

Don't waste your time and money PLEASE

THIS DOESN'T WORK I hate working with thermal paste but this cooler has only made things worse. There is no rear mount, just a front mount and radiator to attach. The only way to secure it is to literally smash the cooler by cracking the CPU socket. With my aorus pro z390 wifi, the m.2 armor is annoying. You can attach the brace, but it literally sits in the clip recess on the m.2 armor, so I had to remove it once I had the brace and pins in place. I bought this by accident and it's not worth…

Much better than my standard Optiplex 9020mt cooler.

I ordered this product individually because the stock black cooler was $20. But studies, videos, other reviews of sites that seemed to have negative sides touched the fan, it lights up, but it cannot be changed, and the light does not move. Also, some fans may have quality control and rotate poorly. But I didn't care! I installed on a Dell Optiplex 9020mt and it fits great. It came with plastic brackets to attach it to the mobo, but for my personal project I used m3x20mm metric screws and…
