The tree is more or less like the photo, easy to assemble but there are some minor flaws. The metal lug at the base is slightly bent and the hole in the barrel for the lug is a bit large. To keep the tree from tipping over, I had to wrap the tab in tissue paper before installing the trunk - looking at it now, there's almost no sign of a bent tab; I looked at it from all sides. I should preface this by explaining that I used Revain cash to get this tree. It serves its purpose very well (I wanted a long thin cedar tree). When I opened the box it smelled heavenly. It was clearly a piece of cedar and I was very excited. When unpacking, however, I noticed poor workmanship. I'm far from a Christmas killer but I don't want anyone to buy this tree and be as disappointed as I am.
