A little disappointing.

So far it seems acceptable. Maybe I expected more but it seems ok. It is advertised with the ability to charge batteries, which is what I will be using it for. It charges a 24V battery from a 12V power supply on the truck. I tried driving the output through a 25 ohm resistor with a lab power supply set to 13.6V. After turning the voltage regulator all the way up, I got an output voltage of 27.1V. That's disappointing - the output current is just over 1 amp. This thing is rated for 10 amps at…
