Description of Video card GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 8G (rev. 1.0/1.1), Retail
- + I took it to work with video, Adobe Premier, screen recording via OBS and Zoom, fast transcoding via Format Factory (2k . mkv H.265 compresses almost 2 times). Completely satisfied. + Boosts up to 1930 MHz automatically. + When encoding video, only the Video Engine is used. + The Video Engine is VERY well balanced: at 1930 MHz and about 900 mV of voltage, it uses no more than 20% of the GPU, the temperature does not exceed 63 degrees, silence. + Easy pay.
- - The cooling system is TERRIBLE: it howls and rumbles at 69% rpm, it buzzes at 90% and above (nasty). Pay extra for version 3 fan or get another brand. - Poor assembly of the cooling system, the wire and fasteners are hanging inside, I did not disassemble it yet, so as not to lose the guarantee. The owners advise to sort out the video card and fix the wire and its fastening through the gasket (and this is in the video card for 32,000).
- The video card is worth the money.
- Fans work terribly from 80% speed, they start to rattle and an unpleasant noise is created.
- Performance, low noise, build quality, customizable. Of the additional factors: a 256-bit bus, a normal size (it is free in the system unit), a suitable power connector (it was not necessary to install adapters or change the PSU).
- Only the price tag at the time of purchase. The lack of illumination or rich dowry in a simple package is not critical. Though. On a disk with drivers could be ruined.
- Performance in games at the beginning of 2022 - with a small margin.
- Temperature, noise, factory overclocking problem
- Performance, price, quiet enough (but judging by the reviews it all depends on the specific model), probably the most affordable RTX card, not counting the usual 2060.
- Cooling - two coolers are clearly not enough for this video card, 80-83 degrees is a normal state for it.
- Performance, price
- Execution, general impressions of use, cooling system, noise level
- + Powerful factory overclocking: the manufacturer squeezed almost everything out of the chip. Further overclocking is possible by ~5%, but will lead to big problems with cooling. + Performance in games + Compact
- - Cooling system: vibrations and noise of coolers in different ranges, both at low (30-40% and high 75-90%, vibrations are possible even at 100% operation of coolers) - Lack of DVI and poor equipment - Build quality: threaded not stretched - Chip temperatures at peak load: the 2022 series is generally hot, the manufacturer assures that everything up to 85 degrees is the operating temperature of the chip, but it is not known how this will affect the card's service life and how seriously it threatens the future chip failure. Therefore, there is a need for undervolting by 5-10% to achieve operating temperatures <75 degrees and of course a well-ventilated case
- A fairly powerful and modern video card, which runs most modern games at maximum settings; not large; good cooling with just two opposite fans.
- Its power is not enough for maximum settings in some voracious games; sometimes when fully loaded, a squeak of throttles is heard. I would also like a DVI connector.
