Vikan 53704 Soft Tube Brush Review

This brush is great for cleaning the continuous sewer line under the sink. To do a thorough job, you need to remove at least a few plumbings from under the sink. The brush will NOT clean up and down the drain plugs in a regular sink, nor will it move the siphon in a regular sink. Both must be loosened and cleaned separately and then reassembled. The brush works well with a little soap and elbow grease. Yes, I would recommend this product.

Somehow my kids sink had some kind of nasty black dirt (or grew) on the inside of their pipe and it was slowly dripping down. No other sink in the house has anything like it. This brush just arrived and I quickly stuffed it into the failed tube while the water was flowing. However, I drew out the azure marvel with too much greed, causing the thick bristles to stain the walls with a vile substance. I should probably point out that I didn't use this brush as a snorkel but for my purposes it was just what I needed. Update September 6, 2020: I love this brush even more. She cleaned the sink with a slow drain! One of the bathroom sinks was slowly dripping, so I unplugged it and used a crystal drain cleaner (you know, a hard drain cleaner). After flushing the drain with cold water the flow got a little better so I wanted to put the plug back on but I noticed the pipe inside looked disgusting.
