This was my first DE razor and not a bad razor at heart but it is very, very soft. Not very harsh and on an aggressive scale of 1 to 10 it's probably a 1 or less. And it's overpriced too. First of all Vikings Razor customer service is amazing. I emailed them asking what they recommend for a beginner safety razor. They recommended I use the Chieftain Jr because it's soft and very forgiving for new DE users. You weren't wrong. Great razor that gives me a great shave. They could have persuaded me to buy a much more expensive razor but they were honest with me. They said start with Jr. I appreciate their honesty and advice. I can Chieftain Jr. for new users.
