Used for a 10 km winter hike in Hocking Hills, Ohio. Worked great to keep snow and mud off my pants and boots. Very convenient and easy to use. They seem to be holding up well. Good product!

My (women's) winter boots are size 8.5 and I usually wear size 8 shoes. I ordered a size S but am returning it for a size M. The S gaiters don't fully match my lace up boots (which have some weight but fit snugly).

4 trips to Alaska drag these things through thickets of all sorts of things. They do what they're supposed to do. They have remained intact and continue to make new voyages. The guys I hunt with smashed up famous brands and I just laugh at my $20 bulletproof ones.

I like it very much! I didn't want to buy a special pair of hiking boots for winter hiking. I wore these guys over my regular summer hiking boots and keys to keep them warm and dry even in the wet and snowy South Dakota conditions. Highly recommended! They make good use of it!

When I first used this product, the top buckle strap pulled out, making the buckle unusable. The biggest disappointment is that the velcro does not protect against snow packs like sorels. They fit over hiking boots, but are useless for winter hikes on snowpack. And this on a grand scale. I returned them for a refund. Poor build quality and design.

They are very good quality but I'm not sure if they will withstand a snake bite. I don't want to put them to the test, but they look very good for that. I think with a good pair of pants and some hiking socks these gaiters can withstand the bite of a medium to small sized snake. I'm going to use them for the Costa Rica rainforest and they seem to be doing their job well. I like her. I will update my comment if I find something I don't like.

I've been wearing these in the field for a while now and they do a great job of protecting your boots and pants from stuff! Definitely waterproof and offer better support than most leggings. I'm concerned about the elastic that goes under the boot, but it likes to snag on things and fail when hiking. I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before it pops but it hasn't happened yet and I'm happy! If it is, it looks like it could be replaced.

I bought these to replace 25 year old US made Nylon and Goretex gaiters. Vinqliq is very similar in design. The slight differences are that the forefoot doesn't reach the front of the boot and the girth is smaller than my old boots. Fits great, really better for my foot than the old ones. If there is too much fabric, the gaiters will get caught on the barbed or sage wire. The boot strap had survived miles of boulders and lava without a scratch. I am a bow hunter and the gaiters that most hunting companies sell are very expensive and not always of good quality. There's really no need to mask the ankles, so I looked for a cheaper alternative. These leggings are awesome! They are made out of very durable material and I can see they will last quite a while.
