Love this hat: It stays on my head when it's windy

I bought this hat in red and it is stunning. I finally have a rain hat that stays on, plus the brim is wide enough to actually keep your head and neck dry. I flip up the front in a drizzle and go on my way, hands free. Loved my rain slickers, but the hood never stays up, this solves all my problems and I get many second looks. I'm going to take that as a compliment.

Dry and Sharp good for me

This hat is great for me. It complements a long leopard raincoat I have. Using umbrellas is getting old and this allows me to greet around easily. The brim is wide enough to keep my glasses dry and the rain out of my collar.

Disappointed on my review.

This is a nice hat and would probably be just what I needed but there was no chin strap. The 1st good wind blast blew the hat down the street. Very disappointing.

used instead of umbrella

I bought this hat for a trip to Ireland in October, the rainiest month. It was perfect. I did not use an umbrella, just this hat and an all weather coat. I walked tours and gardens and had a great time.

Perfect for the Tropics

What a great hat at a very reasonable price! I purchased it to wear in Costa Rica during the rainy season. Several times we were in a major downpour with water gushing. This hat held out perfectly even after it was rolled up in a suitcase. I cinched up the chin strap it kept my hair dry, and water off my face while taking long walks. The rain did not ruin our vacation.

Great Birthday gift for AL fan

I got this hat for my friend who is a avid AL fan. She said it was the best birthday gift. The reason I chose this was that it had a strap that held the hat on.

Scotland tested best in my review

We made fun of my wife buying this hat. She looked great in it but it was like rubber. She got the last laugh- it poured at military tattoo for two hours. She was dry , I was not.

Good coverage, tight fit!

I like the coverage of the hat and the chin string that will keep the hat on in windy conditions. I do not like the actual fit, the hat is a little snug so you can't wear your hair in different styles. I can't push my hair under the hat because of the tight fit.
