Orthopedically fixed

I've been buying these since I had a pair of pink Joeys sneakers. They seemed to be poor relatives, although the style was the same. The orthotic was non-removable which was the main reason I bought it so I could use my own orthotics. Also, the build quality seemed sloppy. Fake? That was my thought. Certainly not the Vionic quality I'm used to based on the many pairs of shoes, sandals and sneakers I own.

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • No effect

Good support, poor quality

I love these shoes. I ordered a full size larger than what I wear in Vionic sandals. They were going great until last Friday. Suddenly a hole appeared between the three pinholes. For 1.5 days it turned into a huge hole. They are currently unportable. They are only 3.5 months old and are carried indoors about 3 times a week. Will buy again as they feel great but disappointing $100 shoes that wear out so easily.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

These shoes made up for being bullied in high school

I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and had to stop walking because of it. I found them and decided to wear them to help with my very high arches when I'm recovering. Now I find it difficult to wear other shoes and this is coming from a person who has 12 pairs of shoes. Great hold, favorite color (although they get dirty easily), stylish and comfortable. Not the best arch support for very high arches, but good enough for walking around town. We're saving for another pair!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Annoying

Comfortable and cute lightweight shoes with great arch support

I ordered these shoes to help with plantar fasciitis pain. Based on some reviews I ordered a half size up which was too much as there is a lot of space. These shoes are so comfortable and when I walk, I find that they support me much better than my regular running shoes. They seem really well made, light and breathable. The perfect hiking shoe for spring and summer. My family members recommended Vionics to me and I can understand why! I like that they don't look bulky. They are pretty cute and…

Bad choice best for women

It was really a bad buy. I wear Vionic shoes every day. I bought them because they looked cute online. When the shoes arrived I couldn't believe they were really Vionics. The top was paper thin and the shoes were very narrow. I really couldn't even put it on. The sneakers looked like fake Vionics from the dollar store. Didn't bother to get another shoe out of the box. I repackaged the shoes and asked Revane to send them back. Buyers beware of third parties! I am responsible for sending back…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Not your typical supportive sneakers

Nice sneakers! Hard to believe these shoes are orthopedic. Unlike many other orthopedic shoes, these are not overly soft and comfortable, making them chunky and clunky. The leather is thin and fits snugly to the foot, making the shoe thin and light. Arch support is good overall, but if you need arch support, you may still need it as most of the support is in the heel (hence the "ortahil" name). I have fairly severe plantar fasciitis and I have a hard time shopping. for shoes that support and…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
