Failure after 3 minutes of mixing the emulsifying oil.

Overheating when mixing soap oils. I had it mixed in the pot for about 3 minutes when it turned off and never turned on again. I am returning this product and will not buy another one. My expectations were as high as I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Vitamix blender which I have used daily for the past 8 years.

Plastic blade case?

I love vitaminix. My first blender did this 17 years before I had to replace parts. My son still does it. I love my new Ascent but needed a new hand blender. I bought this before realizing that the blade body is plastic. I'm so disappointed to see this, I don't want to say it's hot soups and sauces. Vitamix really missed the mark here. If/when they make it in stainless steel then I will buy it. I've never used it, but I give it 5 stars for its potency, purity, and usage just because it's a…

Not sure if it was worth it

This is my first hand blender purchase ever. I make a lot of sauces and purees so I was looking for something solid and strong to get a smooth and long lasting mix. Many reviews of other mixers complain about a break after 1 year. This blender was great, durable and easy to clean. The main reason I bought it is the stainless steel construction. Through a lot of research, people say that plastic constructions break / have low strength after about a year. Unfortunately, the outside of this…

Doesn't work in the jar I drink my smoothies out of

After about 4 years of service I make smoothies (frozen fruit/vegetables, yoghurt, almond milk) in the jar, I drink them and mix soups in pots, my inexpensive hand blender with 2 Speeds Ovente expired. I read the good reviews on the Vitamix and despite the cost, I decided to buy it because I thought it would work better, maybe blend faster. Bad decision. I'm VERY sorry I threw away the box before I made my first smoothie, otherwise I would have returned it. The blender leg easily sucks frozen…

Great product from the trusted Vitamix brand

Wow! This is an amazing hand blender that goes with the Vitamix brand! I'm the happy owner of the Vitamix Pro 750 (I've been using it daily since 2012). This cute little blender packs a lot of power! My boyfriend gave it to me for Christmas, but he knew better than to wait until then to give it to me (because I used it to make us whole tomato and shallot pasta sauce yesterday). , fresh basil and spices. It took me 45 seconds on level 2 to make the dreamy sauce. I'm a powerhouse smoothie lover…

I tried my best to hate it but.

Look, I think it's ridiculous to spend $149 on an immersion blender, but I did it and here's why: I have an 18-year-old cat who is my absolute love is, and she's made it to the point where she wouldn't chew her wet food; She will just lick the juice and then leave the part that she has to chew. I think she lost a few teeth and it probably hurts to chew. My solution to this problem was to use my Hamilton Beach hand blender to thin her food so she could eat more easily. Well, after about 3 years…
