I was wrong and thought it had its own compressor but I kept it and used the auxiliary tank. It's for a kids train ride and it's very loud it sounds like a train and i grew up next to the station is there air it's as good as it gets.

These tabs are too big to fit in the engine bay of a medium sized car. I don't doubt their quality. You look great. I didn't unpack the horn because my mechanic said the horn wouldn't fit. Sent the horn back to the seller's address. Guilty! I had to send it back via Revane. The Revain representative Mohammed said he would solve the problem and refund my money. Crossed fingers!

I have had other horns from very cheap to those used on trains. I decided to give it a try and see how it compares. Horn looks very nice. They're actually metal, which surprised me a bit. The solenoid mounts directly to the base of the horn, simplifying installation. Only 2 wires need to be connected. And those horns are VERY LOUD! Much louder than I expected. Incredibly loud, although not as quiet as I had hoped. The tubes unscrew from the diaphragms and I removed the 12v solenoid. I fed them through a manual push button valve and used them as part of the front float! My only complaint is that the mount doesn't match the weight of these horns. I used a stainless steel machine screw and drilled a hole in the longest horn's bell to keep it from bouncing. It might be ok due to wind or being attached to a strong car frame but I would still worry about…
