This fan is suitable for every room. The noise level is the same as any other fan. That looks great! Definitely cools the room. Definitely recommend.

Bought to match my 1930's bedroom decor. My only minor complaint: the power button has 5 positions. At this price point I think a nicer feel, more adjustable dial would be appropriate, something that would have a few 'clicks' on each of the lines on the power/speed dial button. Otherwise very satisfied.

The bearing I received made a terrible bearing noise and of course I was discouraged. I contacted customer service on Thursday and explained the problem. This is a known issue. The support accepted my information and immediately sent a replacement. Hats off to Caitlin from Vornado. The fan is solidly built and is almost a work of art. Vornado stands behind its products.

Received this fan on the 3rd June and has been working very well until yesterday. Nobody dropped it, but yesterday (July 30th) it started making a clicking noise and today it made a horrible grinding noise. We turned it off and the cheap plastic part inside broke. It's easy to fix with a nut, but I don't think we should for a $145 fan! Super annoying.

Pretty, but smaller than you think and not very effective. I love the look of this fan and almost kept it for that reason. The fan is fairly quiet, but I didn't find it circulated the air the way I wanted it to. But if you are looking for something high quality and beautiful in a small space, this will be great for you.

Can't bring myself to return this fan. He's too beautiful to part with. It's durable, well made, very quiet and efficient - only in small spaces - like a headboard or tabletop. I was hoping this would create a nice breeze in a larger room, but it doesn't. On a headboard or desk it is perfect. Expensive mistakes but I'll live with that as I need an extra breeze on these spots. Oh good. live and learn That is beautiful.

I have a large and a small and they are the most energy efficient and cost effective way to cool the air in an old house. My 20 year old Silver Swan is getting a little tired this year so it's time to add a new fan or two. A medium sized circulator pushes conditioned cool from the front of the house to the center where another circulator supports the living room. cool when cooling the kitchen. It's 90 degrees and stuffy. The kitchen is beautiful. Recommend. Would buy again.
