Great little monitor!

Bought this monitor to use as a DMD screen in a virtual pinball machine I was working on (if you're unfamiliar, it's a small screen that shows the score as you play). That was excellent! Looks good, no problems, works right out of the box. I definitely recommend it.

Unique LCD screen for unique use.

Used as an external monitor for the dashboard in racing simulators. However, it worked as advertised to get the correct aspect ratio/resolution. I had to do a custom resolution in my graphics card settings to get it to display correctly. Installation was also difficult. Otherwise, for the price, it has everything I needed.

Works great after updating the firmware to automatically detect it in Windows.

Great DMD screen for virtual pinball. Excellent viewing angle from all sides. You need to update the firmware to the latest version for Windows to automatically detect the HDMI input. Upgrading is easy, depends on how much of a techie you are. You need to copy the file to a flash drive, then paste it into the USB input screen and update. Windows defined as 768 x 1024.

good monitor Make sure you give it enough power.

Good monitor. I am in favor of not using ribbon cable but using wires with connectors which are much more durable and take a small amount of use and abuse well. Make sure you have a power supply capable of producing 12V 2A or more. But even at 2a, if you use a power supply that claims to be capable but isn't, the monitor/control board will not work properly. Great little display, after firmware update

I bought this item to use as a DMD display in a pinball virtual office. I couldn't find answers to some of my questions so I decided to order and find out for myself. My questions were: Is it possible to rotate the device/image 180 degrees via the settings menu. - Yes. It can be rotated 90/180/270 degrees. Does the HDMI input turn on automatically?
