Does not match Honda black chrome grille. More of a golden hue and a bit wavy when installed and not crystal clear like real black chrome.

Black chrome looks more like silver. It also has lines all over the roll that won't go away making it unusable so I threw it in the trash.

First of all when you start to unroll it it's rolled up so tight that the vinyl peels away from the backing. You can't flatten it at all. The clutch was so bad that after a minute it sighed and disengaged. An absolutely terrible product.

I bought this as it was written Black chrome, when I opened the box it looked like black chrome. Upon application I found the material was stiff as others had said and did not stretch (which also caused wrinkles and air bubbles that could not be removed). Fast forward 3 hours, I'm standing on the sidelines looking at my project and as I walked by that black chrome had kind of turned to a pinkish bronze color.

It's definitely bronze to the point where I thought I bought the wrong product. I'll say it again, it's brown, not black or grey! I would use it if it was on the gray side. A very cool color other than that, but the image shown as advertised doesn't look like it at all. The photo posted with the review, also claiming bronze, was much more similar to mine. Look elsewhere for black chrome, but if you're looking for a very cool bronze, buy it!

Bought because it's the only black chrome I could find. I was a little worried about the reviews about the color and the complexity of the application. I can vouch for the difficulty of application - chrome vinyl tends to be difficult to work with and definitely doesn't stretch as much as regular vinyl. As for the color, it's perfect. An important clue! A clear plastic sheet is taped to the vinyl (probably to protect it) once I realize the color was impressive once removed.
