🧔 Wahl 5537-420 Trimmer: Versatile Grooming Tool for Mustache, Beard, Nose, and Eyebrow Styling Review

Operates on AA batteries. I just assumed it was rechargeable. But it's normal. Handy for on the go. The base has a place for a razor but no trimmer. It doesn't make much sense to me. Good range of guards for different lengths of cut.

I bought this trimmer to replace an old Wahl battery powered trimmer. I lost all my accessories and it was cheaper to buy a new one. This one doesn't cut either. I have to go over the beard and mustache several times to get a straight line. In contrast to the old open design, scratch struts have a slotted stop. They clog with hair and need constant cleaning. This is a very disappointing purchase.

This is my third choice. Very lazy. Pulls out hair, cuts badly. I use oil and keep it clean. Used about 4 times and I'll break down and just shave my beard off or buy another one.

keeps running out. I had one once and it never happened. That's a catastrophe. Instead of improving his gear, it turned out to be bad.

I don't have a beard. I have a mustache and a lot of hair on my ears. This set does a wonderful job. I am very happy. I only use it once a week so I don't know how long the battery will last. For the price you can't beat it.
