The stem arrived quickly and had no major defects. There was a small chip in the finish but it doesn't bother me. I have bought other's from this company and the finish on those was perfect, for what its worth. Anyway I bought this along with wider handlebar to give my super outdated mountain bike a better feel on trails.

I bought this short stem to replace the long one on my wife’s road bike to give her a comfortable reach. It does the job nicely. I had to buy spacers because this one is lower than the original. Also the bolts for the plates do not look that strong. I ended up using those on the original stem instead.

I’ve had this on my bike for about a week now with about 50 miles of trail riding of all terrain. I ordered this with the wake bars as a pair and they’re fantastic so far.They seem strong and sturdy with little riding I’ve done with it. For only 10$!? I used this to upgrade from the horrendous stock stem on my 2022 GT Aggressor Pro (made me hunched over in a chiropractor-inducing position, like the Hunchback of Notre Dame). I purchased for my 2018 Fuji Adventure hard tail bike. I need a extra spacer but this should go well with the new 720mm bar I ordered. Will update soon and talk about the feel and flaws.Build quality is nice, comes with the 6 screws needed to bolt this baby on to your stem. I'm switching over from my stock riser because I'm tired if extending my arms far forward.

Work nicely as expected, don't forget to buy more spacers as it might be narrower than the stem you're replacing. I needed one spacer to make it happen.Mild stem was much longer, and my handlebars were much narrower about 640 mm. By adding this new stem and a 780 handlebar my bike feels fantastic and my back no longer aches after a long ride.

I bought this about 1 year ago and all I can say is wow. It is Very sturdy and very clean looking. Some people say they have problems with the bolts stripping but I didnt have a problem they work perfectly fine but if you want to upgrade the bolts go for it be better then not doing it. It seems as though a lot of people think this is heavy. If you are a mouse trying to bench press this then sure. However I've owned a few ultralight deda stems for 5 times the money, and I'd say the extra 2 to 4 ounces of extra weight this adds compared to anything from deda or cinelli is completely fine for me! Grave value great look The only reason why I gave this a 4 star review was because when it came in the mail I had a good size chip on the top and the fact that the hole for my handlebars were too big definitely not a standard size hole for a standard size mountain handlebar I had to order a handlebar Shim to fix the issue

its nice just not too sure how much force it can take i used it on my bike for just riding and doing errands The stem may not provide the needed strength and support for intense or aggressive riding styles!

I’ve purchased a few and they work great. I’m a heavy rider(300lbs+) and have taken some spills while mt biking. I’ve taco’d more wheels than broken stems. Definitely recommend

Does not accept normal size handle bars. It's shorter than the other clamp on stems I own. It's Lighter if that's a good thing on a motor bicycle.

I'm super hard on bike stuff because I am a beginner. This thing has taken alot of suffering and shows no signs of letting up. The nuts don't strip, though you do have to make sure they are tight. And there are no cracks or anything the thing is a a champ and at a really good price. Def can trust it to hold up to anything - 160lbs full suspension that gets bottomed out every ride for sure. Also, really like where it puts the bars on the bike. Used different lengths but 45mm is good

I like that it is light weight and feels good. I would like to see some split lock washers on the screws and maybe some loctite on the threads. Most brands come standards with those.

Couldve been a bit aggressive with the torquing but it really seemed to not fair well from a moderate turn of it and sang thing snaped flush with the far side of the lower pinch and shes stiff n stuckkkk

If you have a GT aggressor Buy spacers otherwise it won’t fit right. I wish Wake would have just had them with the kit. Now I have to install the old one and wait till spacers come in… not very happy but it’s my fault I guess.

I changed my mtb stem on my Motobecane Fantom DS from a 90mm it came with to this 45mm stem. I just had to add a spacer to raise it to where I had my previous stem and it works great. My steering feels quicker and the cockpit is closer to me so I'm sitting in a more upright position. I think this stem looks cool.

Easily installed and very secure. I've riding close to 10 miles with all the upgrades to my Schwinn Al Comp. It's all been on gravel roads so far but I do plan on trying it out in Hot Springs, AR in the mountains soon.
