Walbro clone - RUBBISH

ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH Chinese clone of a legitimate pump. A very good imitation. This fooled me as long as the max fuel pressure on the dyno was less than 10psi. Verified next to a real Walbro in a performance store. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Not the best

Walbro outdid themselves

This pump solved my drinking problem by pumping even more fuel down my throat. The car has passed the 520hp dynamo and the pump seems to handle it with little effort but time will tell. Also, I can't even tell it's on, it's pretty quiet.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I ordered a kit 450. The photo shows the filter.

I ordered a set of 450's The photo shows the filter, hoses, wiring harness etc. I only have a pump with a cap on the part of the pump where the filter is not in the factory Walbro box, I didn't even want to run it and wanted to send it back. Every genuine Walbro ive order comes in a factory box with a kit. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Great Walbro pump!

Excellent! Original TIA/Walbro 450. Last piece of the puzzle for my build. Installation, of course, is not easy, but everything is at the level of OEM components. If you are installing this in a German car, remember that the polarity is reversed, ie: connect minus to pump plus and plus to pump minus.

Pros
  • Excellent Price
Cons
  • Damaged

Don't waste money

Purchased on October 16, 2019. The pump has already failed. I contacted the seller and they just submitted a return form to production. It looks like it will cost me more money and downtime. The pump will not rise above 35 psi. The fuel system is new including the tank, lines, regulator, wiring and relays. Have no voltage drop. I installed a friend's fuel pump and everything works.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Appearance

After 700 km the pump dies. can't handle.

After 700 km the pump dies. can't handle 24 lbs of boost, runs at 65 psi at 4 bar, should be 80 Edit: I found a bad wire going to the pump (poor soldering on my end). I fixed the cable with the butt connector and now I have very good A/F on WOT. A few adjustments and I'll have well over 500 hp. on my 2004 Allroad.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Cheap fake, doesn't hold proper fuel pressure.

Unfortunately the installation took over a month and I missed the return window. Next time I'll buy from the source. THIS IS NOT A GENUINE PRODUCT! AVOID! Pressure ranges from 30 to 50 psi on a car idling nearly 73 psi on the stock pump. Chased parts, new cables laid, new pressure sensor. Over $200 trying to find out if the pump was fake. Very dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Persistent test results
Cons
  • Some errors

Looks like a fake pump not leaking advertised numbers

. I almost lost a brand new engine on the dyno due to a sudden drop in fuel pressure when I first started the dyno. We found the fuel pump to be the source of the problem and checked to see if the flow rates were far from advertised. I bought two of these pumps and will most likely throw them both in the trash. Stay away and buy direct from a trusted seller.

Pros
  • . That is amazing.
Cons
  • . Slightly torn.

Passed the test of time!

I have been using this pump on my 630hp D-1SC Procharged 6.1 Hemi Challenger for over two years. The pump worked perfectly. The only issue I had was that after two years in the tank the hose that came with the kit leaked leaving me stranded on the side of the road. They towed the car home, pulled out the pump and found a hole in the umbilical hose coming out of the pump. I replaced the hose with a Gates scuba hose and everything is great again.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some trouble
