Gasket seals well

This is a good gasket and you may think that makes it good. It's a little smarter than the notch in the converter tube, so it can be crumpled to create a good seal. Given that cars these days throw codes with even a small exhaust leak, if you're dealing with the exhaust, consider replacing the gasket.
