Good quality for the price

This walking leg fits my Huskystar 224 perfectly. My last (regular) walking leg just broke and this is a replacement. I don't like plastic legs but I should have known before ordering! I sewed a few practice rows and encountered some creases (my old metal presser foot had no problems with creases). I may need to adjust the sewing foot settings to support this. I love that this foot has a guide rail that my old foot didn't have! I don't quilt heavy or use thick cotton so this foot should be fine

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different

You get what you pay for

I knew this walking foot might not be that great given how much cheaper it is. I decided to give it a try because I'm new to sewing and didn't want to spend $30-$70 on a walking foot and then never use it. It came with no instructions so I had to google and watch videos on how to install this on my machine (Janome). It took a bit of work, but once I figured it out, he easily walked to the car. He began to "walk” well, stretched the fabric, but then the upper transport combs stopped working…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Not Good Enough

Short Version: Pros: Fits Janome Mod-200, good for easy seam location Long Version/History Time: Use this with my (recently purchased) Janome Mod-200. Fitted correctly and worked well. to the point. When trying to sew on the bias tape, it turned out that there wasn't enough room for the fabric sandwich where the bias tape ended. There were 13 layers of fabric that my old Janome Jem Gold (and a walking foot to match) could easily handle. I was frustrated that my new machine couldn't do what I…

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
