I used scissors to widen the hole and "stretched" the width by hand and it's perfect - they weigh about 3.5 pounds - it can only slam one at a time but both like it.they look like little turtles lol It exceeded my expectations if you have a bun and a little "tweak" it's perfect.

I like the size for my Coturnix quail. There they take turns laying eggs and sometimes there are even two of them at the shelter! It seems to be very durable and my first one lasted about a year! My second one broke a bit in transit. I shouldn't have shipped it in the same box with a heavy frying pan!

My guinea pigs love their new home! I had to buy another one because the piglets were fighting for space in it. It will fit both adults but they are stubborn. Although they love to chew it, which is to be expected. I don't mind that I'll probably have to replace this in a few months. Dual purpose comes at a small price. The only negative is that my creepy little kids keep turning it upside down.

This is my guinea pigs' absolute favourite. They are quite large which makes it easy for my fat guinea pig to climb in. They last a long time, although pigs like to eat them. The only bad experience is that one of them came with a door opening that was too small so my husband had to use large scissors to cut it out. But it worked out great and the hut didn't collapse and the pigs still thought it was great!

guinea pigs love this house. They like it better than their willow tunnel because it allows them to hide completely from us. They don't actually chew it, but they always bang their heads and flip it over. Sometimes up to 3-4 times in 20 minutes. Sometimes they go for days without a flip. Who can understand the mind of a guinea pig. However, all that flipping eventually took its toll and we had to start cutting away the layers as the hut fell apart. They didn't mind, and they continued to use…
