I bought this for my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Assembly requires disassembly of the front bumper, but assembled it fits very well. I use this to set up my portable winch and it has found many uses already.

I put this on my WJ '04 and it fits perfectly with the lower head with no modification. It eliminates the weak link of the heavy-duty radiator mount and is also a tow point to help you get out of a traffic jam. This is a great option for those who don't want to buy one of the ugly and heavy winch bumpers that are available for the WJ.

First class build quality. The part was very easy to install on my 2001 Grand Cherokee and only took about an hour. I was able to reattach my bumper without cutting it, but decided to trim some of the plastic on the back of the lower grille because the tow hitch was rubbing against the back of my bumper. This eliminated the slight bend in the lower part of the bumper just in front of the tow hitch. Overall very satisfied and would buy the clutch again!

Pretty easy to install took about 1.5 hours. The hardest part for me was removing the grille on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Special Edition. I broke 3 of the 4 bottom clips. After taking it off, I realized that I had to unclip the top first, and then pull the bottom. You need to drill something, the holes are already there, you just need to make them bigger. Good workmanship, good instructions. 16 inch increments/dp/B000RP82F8/ref=sr_1_4?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1407815840&sr=1-4 ) and a cordless combi drill to enlarge the holes in the frame. This combination did in one minute what took a tedious 15 minutes of messy drilling and dripping cutting fluid to keep the drill from overheating. The unstable slow percussion drive cut through instantly. The next day I used the hitch as a front recovery point with no problem. I recommend this good product.
