🚗 Efficient Vehicle-mounted Electric Winch: WARN 92000 2000 Series 12V DC Utility Winch with 1 Ton Pulling Capacity Review

Installs on a small trailer with an inclined platform to make it a tipping trailer. The winch was very easy to install, the only wiring was positive and negative and it was ready to use straight out of the box. The long cable on the control box allows me to sit sideways and sideways and offload the load without getting off, also I can unplug the control cable and leave it inside when not using the trailer.

Bought one of these to drive a 2300 lb race car indoors a weekend or two. The first only lasted a month. The second has been interfering since new, making all sorts of noises now and not working as well. I figured by purchasing a warning I would get a long lasting great product. But I do not think.

Bought this and installed about a month ago worked well and has been used to lift items onto a trailer. He could easily lift 80-200lbs, only issue is durability as he just broke the bracket. The body is aluminum and will eventually break off, which can break other screws. I'll change the install location and do some other mods with the next one I buy.

Bought on 12/30/16 and fitted to my trailer. Used it to tow a 200lb dolly onto a trailer and all worked fine. Went to South Texas for 6 weeks preparing for a return trip. He pulled the cart halfway up the ramp and stopped. No connection checks, no waiting for a possible "cool down”, nothing would bring him back to life. I went as far as putting an ohmmeter on the remote and switched over thinking it was bad - everything was fine. If you are looking for an expensive doorstop, this is your kid!

Works as advertised, winch is powerful for such a small unit. But . The wire doesn't keep twisting and now that it's been used for the 3rd time it actually gets stuck next to the pulley which is seemingly impossible. I had to use wire cutters to pull out the twisted pair cable and now it's impossible to find a replacement cable on WARN or Amazon. Judging by the poor quality of the wire, replacement should be standard procedure, although it appears the wire is almost as stretched as a winch…

I fitted this item to my mower that I have used at least 20 times to pull the mower out of the mud on forest trails. The only negative is that it is very noisy. Sounds like a coffee grinder, but serves its purpose. Zero speed mowers sink much faster than standard mowers. You cannot rock them back and forth due to the action of the front wheel. The product was purchased used and in good condition. I've gotten a lot of things like this from Revain and it's always worked for me so far. The $10 saved item arrived with all its parts, the box was a bit torn. So mostly a good deal. Why 4 stars you ask? Well Amazon seems to think it's a good idea to pack things this heavy together with other items lol no it's not. I have read the instructions and you need to pull the cable and wrap it tightly starting with 5 turns on the spool. I used a 6 ga wire from a 14.6 volt idle battery 16 feet to the faucet and a 6 ga wire to the frame with an additional wire to the frame from the battery. The OE pickup wiring isn't good enough for something like this.
