The ball was easy to fill, had all the necessary parts and easy instructions. My son and I came up with different ball games. I don't think it costs more than $10 for a rubber ball that you fill with water. Gets bored easily. As you get older, the ball is quite heavy when inflated and WILL injure someone if hit by a thrown ball. I would look for pool games anywhere other than a watermelon ball!

Review by a group of 10-12 year old boys in the pool was one of the most popular pool toys. I even tried. It's pretty cool to go back and forth underwater. I would suggest a rule NOT to unknowingly throw this at people. This is a water filled ball that can deliver a good punch to knock down a kid. (baby is fine and alive to tell the story) Good for this age group where usually the main pool toy was the soccer ball. It has taken its place.

I ordered this and ended up not having an adapter to put it in the box and I wanted it for a weekend at the BBQ. Not only did the company give me my money back, but they found a store that sold the watermelon ball and called the store to make sure it was in stock. I picked it up from the store on the morning of BBQ day and we had a lot of fun. All of our guests loved it and would love to have one of their own. It's nice to see this kind of customer service.

I have to say I was quite skeptical but I needed to try something new for the kids in the pool. I'm glad I bought it. It's made of very thick material, it seems very strong, the kids love it, we made up some games with it (haven't read the watermelon instructions yet), it jumps great under the water, we play, try to tag others side of the watermelon. We've bought a lot of beach balls, volleyball nets, water guns and diving toys over the last few years, but we get bored of them quickly. There are many ways to play with the watermelon ball and so far it has been a great addition to our pool. Best of all, it never gets thrown out of the pool, so no one has to go out and chase it down the hill like our beach balls do. First of all the delivery was fast even though the order was placed just before the bank holiday weekend. The package was intact and well protected in the shipping box. The product itself is amazing! This product looks so simple, but it's a lot of fun and activity. It doesn't quite float, it doesn't quite sink, and it can be driven underwater slowly. Adults and kids love it but my 17 year old son and his friends liked it best. I also play with it alone in the pool and due to its weight it is very suitable for arm training in the water or on land.
