I was looking for an easy way to slice up a watermelon for an easy snack. In practice, this tool does not work as one might expect from the images. In the prank of useless kitchen gadgets, last stop before donating to charity.

This cut took a little getting used to. By the end of my first melon, I had consistently cut the slices down to the crust. The only criticism is that the handle needs some padding. It bites the hand when cutting slices.

I didn't even know there was something to cut watermelon until I found this one. Great product, works very easily with a little practice. A great gift for your neighbor's next BBQ, but throw in a watermelon if he doesn't already have one!

The idea is good but requires good strength in your hands. I love watermelons and thought it would be a lot easier to cut them up. Not this case. I am an old man and I no longer have the strength in my hands that I had when I was young. Very disappointed.

The first two times I used it, my fingers cut on the sides. The third time I finally got it to work properly was when it broke. I paid for it to use it effectively once! Use a knife instead. They don't break when they go through a watermelon. VERY DISSATISFIED!

Seems to work fine, my first try with Melon. I like it but wait until the fruit is ripe or it will be harder to cut. The quality seems good, but time will tell. It had no instructions or information so I was trying to figure out what all those prongs and notches and slots were for. Otherwise, the plastic case could have been made a little thicker so that it fits better in the hand and because it doesn't cut into the hand so much. But a good product. Like it more than a knife.

After reading reviews, I was skeptical about this tool's ability to slice watermelons. My kids LOVE watermelons, but I HATE cutting them because it makes a huge mess every time I do it. When I got to the second half, I found out. I love this shop! It keeps the mess in the watermelon and you only get the tasty bits out. Be careful, it appears to be a lot hotter than it looks as I got a few bits off my fingers without realizing it.

My roommate made fun of me for buying this and said why I really need it and that it's just a gimmick. That was until the first time I used it. It definitely takes a little practice to get the movement right and feel it, but once you get it, it's a game changer. You can cut the watermelon all the way into the watermelon itself and just dump half of it into the Tupperware to spill any cut pieces.
