Bought by a petite 10 year old for camp use. We made sure the water bottle fits in the side pocket. She had bug spray, sunscreen, and a stuffy compress. She is very happy with the bag.

Yes, they're small, but they're perfect for kids to carry on day hikes. Not sure if they'll work as a school backpack, but for hiking, snacks, a jacket, extra socks, flip flops, and water fit in. I bought these for 5 and 7 year olds and they are just what we need.

Smaller than the average bear. definitely not waterproof. That was a hard lesson for my children. It worked for our short break and I wanted to keep them for hiking but no. I will find more roomy and waterproof. Too bad I like the colors.

The backpack is made of high quality materials, lightweight and durable. Gave it to a young family member to carry their stuff on camping trips, great for that purpose but also great as a small everyday backpack for an adult, don't think you could do better for the money.

The only criticism is that the water bottle pocket is not very practical. You must use a secure strap or it will fall out. Knowing this is for kids I think it would be better to have a closed bottle bag. The pack falls down and the water opening gets dirty all the time. It doesn't compare to the old one. However, more things fit and extra straps are better. My son can take large toys for his creative journey.

I bought this backpack hoping it would fit my 11 inch Chromebook. It almost fits, but not quite. However, the quality is good and the price is reasonable for this bag. so I'll keep at it. The zippers work well, the back and shoulder straps are padded and it's water resistant. Although it doesn't fit my Chromebook, it easily fits a jacket, phone, water bottles, umbrella, camera, etc. I keep it for short day trips and bike rides when I don't want to take much more than water.

Bought these for my boys (6 and 3 years old) for camping, hiking and biking. It's the perfect size to carry a baby water bottle, snacks, a change of clothes and a few small essentials. This is exactly what I was looking for. My boys are of average height for their age, sit well, don't hang over their buttocks, but not too low either. Perfect for a day hike or excursion. Should be big enough to put her personal belongings for the night. We'll see how it holds up, but it looks like it's well made
