I saw the packaging first and thought 100 lightbulbs and a remote control wouldn't fit. I opened the package and saw what it was. I opened the twist to see what it was and it was exact length and description. but small and i like it. easy to hide which ending you don't want to see. and very light so you can hang it anywhere, so many possibilities! Good price!

The light will only turn on when the USB is plugged in if it doesn't turn on by itself. I didn't like this because I would have to place the light near the power source to turn it on. The remote controls all the lighting modes but the power buttons don't work on the remote and the USB has a power button and lighting modes but I liked the brightness and size of the lights.

I hung them in my cabin for Christmas and got lots of compliments. They flicker slightly by default when on. So if you need something else, you have to use the remote control or the button on the plug to change it (every time you turn it on). Beware - while I'm pretty sure the wires/bulbs are waterproof, the connector isn't (especially on a push button switch). Not a problem in my application, but worth mentioning.

These are lovely bright lamps, much lighter in color than many on Revain. one would expect to see all of the motor coil wiring. It is unlikely to withstand multiple flexes without cracking or damaging the coating. My next observation is either a plus or a minus depending on your situation. The power consumption of these lights is so low that if you want to use them on a battery they won't draw enough to keep the bank active and will turn off after a minute or so.
