The pins don't snap into the connector! Apparently they are not of the same type. The connector pins are not hidden in the connector housing. In general, the quality is satisfactory, but due to the fact that the contacts are not fixed in the connector, this is a very poor choice. (It is possible to fill the contacts with epoxy, but it is not necessary!) There are also no instructions for assembling the connectors.

I had no trouble installing BUT if something goes wrong with the crimp (and they did) you can find out AFTER you put the item in the slots! So - MAKE SURE YOU GIVE EACH CRIMP A GOOD GRIP! Make sure they are connected and tight BEFORE inserting them into the shields because once you do IF the wire is pulled out of the metal connector - good luck! You will DESTROY the shell by trying to pull out the metal pins. And a replacement rarely fits like new.

Although I haven't used them yet they seem to be of good quality. I plan to use them to replace the O2 sensor in my car. I will cut the original wiring under the car and use it to connect the new sensor. This saves me hours dismantling the interior of the car to get to the connector which is under the carpet under the front driver's seat. I'm very optimistic that this will work well in my situation and save me over a hundred dollars if the store replaces the sensor.

I bought these to protect all connections to my electric scooter controller. At first I was a bit confused about the name of the element. 240,000, I thought, should be enough. You MUST understand how to use them before going into this. Basically, here are two things to remember: Female plug, you're going to have a bad time. The larger end of the connector is for the MALE connector (the pins protrude inside the plastic housing), the smaller end is for the FEMALE connector (nothing should protrude).
