When I purchased this Trustech 1500W heater I had a coupon for the less expensive Kismile patio heater so I bought them both. I'd intended on using this one in the room we used most as it was a bit more expensive but when I set them down side by side I noticed that it was a fair amount smaller and the other brand also had three settings: 500W 750W 1500W instead of just two, which I definitely like. The Trustech heater puts out a fair amount of heat, but after just a couple of uses, I noticed it

It worked great for our garage, until it stopped working 11 months after purchase. It wasn’t used during the summer. No more heat from it at all now. Granted, I live in MN and it maybe isn’t built for that kind of cold.

The heat it was very easy to open and assemble. I was able to mount it by myself. I love the remote control feature. As you can see in the photo it is mounted to the wall just outside of the kitchen walking onto the patio. Heats up the area where you see my patio sectional. My only wish is that the heat extend it farther. I may order another one for the other side of my 19’ x 6’ patio.

EDIT : UNIT shorted out and doesn't work now. Returning.Dad moved in a year ago from Florida back to Tennessee. He's been gone 26+ years so winter is a tad bit harder on him now. He hangs out in the garage which we made into his living room and watch TV. This heater works to heat the entire garage. He stays toasty and it doesn't fire my bill up each month even on the highest setting. Now I don't have to worry about my 66 year old dad freezing and possibly getting pneumonia or even hypothermia.

I have been through four of these. Each one has quit working after about 4 weeks of use. The problem, as shown in the pictures is a faulty connection between the heating element and the circuit board that melts . There is no way to repair it so you will be continually buying a new one.

Tested the new heater last evening, a cool 40°F evening, and sitting out on the deck was very comfortable. Even on the middle setting ( 1000 watts) we were impressed with the large area that was heated.

I'm not sure this would be good for outside but for my barn. I like the radiant heat for working in front of or sitting in front of it, works good. I mainly only use it on p1 as I don't want to get to comfortable. The dogs seem to enjoy it too. Mounted 8' off the ground.

Reviews are not all for this heater, be careful in weeding out proper reviews. Installed as recommended and couch setting under heater does not get warm, only six feet from couch to heater on patio and it does not warm the occupants.

Dangerously hot on the back of heater. I wouldn’t recommend this heater unless you mounted it on a metal bar skit doesn’t catch anything on fire 😳
