Bought this for a beach vacation. We took it to the pool, beach and boat. I never submerged it in water but it got wet on the boat and nothing got wet inside. I like that it's blockable (very easy to set combos). Since it was a backpack, it was easy to carry. It was also easy to fold and pack into a suitcase. A warning, I put a new beach towel in and when I pulled it out it caught on one side of the velcro and tangled my towel. Just be careful when you put something good in it.

I really liked the bag and it fit us very well. Most importantly, when I tested the bag in the bath and lowered it down, the top part where you twist it came loose and started rolling over allowing water to seep in. So my suggestion. That said, stay out of the water if possible and keep an eye on either top to make sure it's leakproof. but otherwise it was great! This was a great bag, I used it on my trip to Universal Studios so we could ride the water slides and not worry about getting anything wet and it did just that. The only issue I had was that the velcro side of the hook will definitely leave a nice scratch if you rub it too hard, but this is an easy fix. Keep that in mind and you're done. I bought this item for cruise and beach security but it never closed and then when someone tried to help me the pieces broke off and wouldn't even close. I bought this for travel with the idea that I could secure it around a sun lounger or tree branch when swimming and not worry too much about someone just picking it up and walking away with it. By default the bag is locked. It comes with a white piece of paper that says the combination to unlock the bag is 000. The code doesn't work. So my fiancé decides to spend hours entering the codes. Literally starts from zero and increases until the POP reaches 064. And it unlocks! To display hidden instructions asking you to enter the 064 code. You cannot see them as they are INSIDE the locked bag. The bag itself is good. Light, waterproof, good straps. My only complaint about the bag itself is

Bought for a trip to Vegas. Used it to carry groceries, store personal items poolside, and tie them to a pool lounger. Keep everything dry and safe.
