Does exactly what it's supposed to do

Easy to trim. It does not squeeze under pressure but is flexible and pliable. This is exactly what I expected from a good thermal pad.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Works very well! in Computers & Accessories

Works as advertised and is the right thickness. I used this to route between my ASUS Strix backplate and the board to aid in heat transfer on the back of the chip. Without direct contact, it's just a cosmetic sheet, but now it really warms and helps transport heat. I used this in combination with a backplate compatible waterblock.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Expensive

I am happy. Best in Internals

I used it on a Dell workstation with a brand new processor, on top of that I also used thermal grease and believe me it's been running for 26 hours. The processor is running at around 83% and keeping the heat around 2.5 degrees below what should be an application running fairly hard. I think I'll use this approach from now on, plus it's pretty cheap. Thanks Revane, if it wasn't for you suggest trying both anyway I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Volume

Better buy it was a waste of time

It was a waste of time to disassemble and install it. I would pay more or the same for a better w/mk and it leaves oil on the spot. I had to repeat them within 2 weeks. I would just avoid this product. Maybe you learn and it doesn't make it worse

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • I am worried

used thermal pad for gtx 1080 classified

I bought a used GTX 1080 from eBay ads that kicked me out of the game when it hit 83 degrees. I investigated the issue and found that a thermal pad is needed and evga is no longer giving them out. So I bought this element and installed it in the recesses of the radiator. And luckily for me it now reaches 94 degrees without jerks. Dude my card works so I bought another one for the sli setup. I also updated the dual bios from the nvidia website before installing the thermal pad.

Pros
  • everything is fine!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works very well. for computers and accessories

I first tried a heatsink on my new 1TB NVMe drive and the stress test results weren't very good. Then check the Dell service manual that says it and they recommend a thermal pad between the drive and the motherboard. The problem is they don't tell you how thick it should be. Used the end of a pair of calipers to take some measurements and concluded it should be either 4mm or 5mm. Tried 5mm first, bingo! The drive stays 15ยฐC cooler than with a heatsink on top. A 100x100 pack is enough for fiveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models

Does what it should.

I have an old laptop from 2011, I put 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD in it, it helped a lot, but the processor was slow. I found a quad-core i7 from that era and bought it used, but it didn't work in the laptop, hit temperature limits very quickly and shut down. I tried "quality" thermal paste and it just didn't work. So I decided to try this, well it worked. I've also used it on an nVidia graphics chip and motherboard chipset controller. It works. There are no more problems with heating, I recommendโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Great for replacing thermal pads on Gamecube

I bought these to replace 18 year old thermal pads on my Gamecube GPU and CPU. In truth, the stock pads were still in good shape, but I cleaned the inside of the console anyway, so I figured changing the pads wouldn't hurt. I chose pads with a thickness of 2 mm. The bearing pads were about 1.5 mm. But to be on the safe side, I chose 2 mm. They worked great. The pads are easy to cut, sticky enough to stay in place but can be adjusted if needed. These are not self-adhesive pads, but they do haveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance
