Description of Watts LF100XL DP TT 150 4 Inch Temperature Pressure

Provides fully automatic self-closing temperature and pressure relief protection for hot water storage tanks and water heaters up to 105,000 BTU/HR. A 2-in-1 temperature and pressure relief valve with copper alloy body, a NPT male inlet, a NPT female outlet connections, and a test lever and extension thermostat for installation in the hot water outlet line or directly in the tank tapping. Proven accurate thermostat with special thermo-bonded coating which must be immersed in the water within the top 6 inches (152 mm) of the tank. Temperature relief: 210 degrees F (99 degrees C), pressure relief range: 75 to 150psi (5.2 to 10.3 bar), ASME rated, and CSA listed. The wetted surface of this product contacted by consumable water contains less than 0.25% of lead by weight.

Worked great on Valves

Price was right and it arrived on time, matched the old valve perfectly and was easy to install. Don't forget to close the water inlet valve and drain the water from the tank below the inlet where the old valve came out, otherwise you may end up with a major water contamination!

Easy installation and good quality

I had hot water from my kettle in the camper van. Upon opening the access door, I found that the pressure relief valve was leaking heavily. I just turned off the hot water heart on this trip and when I got home I ordered a 3/4 LF100XL. They took the old one off with a simple crescent wrench, used plumbers, caulked the threads, installed a new one and lightly tightened it with a crescent wrench. Problem solved, hot water and no leaks! Great valve.

Poor description and no actual links to product models

My second attempt considering my first attempt included links to mfg production models and descriptions hoping to help others. However, this is against Revain's policy. If you are selling from a batch that is so old that model links are no longer used by the manufacturer, you should at least have a full description of what you are selling. . Since the length of the "T" is not listed in this product description, I had to refer to some of the comments in the FAQ section to figure out if the…
