Terrible! This shelf is for looks only, not function. In fact, this is a thick piece of cardboard fastened with wooden dowels and tape. It will fall apart completely if you try to move it, let alone use it. To be honest I can't even believe anyone will sell this product.

We bought this to use as a sideboard in our home theater. Keep in mind that this is essentially thick laminated cardboard. It looks good, but there isn't much to it and it's already bending and splitting. I would recommend getting something sturdier that will roll up.

I needed a bookshelf that could be placed on top of the fridge to put cookbooks on. It was one of the few that fit, so I took it. I wish I could find a good one made of wood but they don't fit. I may have to do it one day. Now it fits, looks normal. Very easy to assemble and ultra light.

This purchase was bad from the start: I was surprised that it was literally made from recycled cardboard and therefore very light. When assembled it is held together with small wooden pins and pre-applied glue. Unfortunately, if you rip off the tape, most of the adhesive will come off. I tried to fix it by adding Gorilla Glue. MUCH overpriced. The item is held together with two small wooden dowels on each side and double sided tape. The paneling of the shelf edges was damaged in two places at the back and front. The trim was not glued to the edge of the shelf and showed up as a prominent bubble just off the front edge of the hull. The paper construction was very visible on this small piece, but it was one of the back corners, so I kept building.
