Works great. Pro Tip: Remove the center back panel from the oven to easily access the cables for reconnection. They are small and will try to get back in. Access from the back of the oven makes this quick and easy.

I was a little apprehensive about buying a spare part for my GE oven online, thinking it might be wrong (hard to find the right number) but it really was the right one and fits perfectly even if it is not an original part from the manufacturer. Highly recommended.

It didn't work on my Hotpoint oven. The picture shown is bad. You need to show a more detailed picture of the connectors as not all hotpoint connectors are created equal. Mine requires a screw connection so I took everything apart and then it didn't work because the holes were too small. If I had seen the picture before purchasing I would not have wasted my time and money on this product. Bad representation.

Delivery within 48 hours after ordering. For less than $20 each, I was able to buy (and buy!) two of these items. I wanted to have a supply on hand for an important meal I needed to prepare "just in case”. Both new items match perfectly with the one I replaced. (The original unit was over 12 years old! I was nervous trying to fix my oven when the old bottom heating element literally fell apart. After buying a new oven I had a bit of sticker shock so I decided to see if I could get it to work a little longer. This heating element arrived quickly and was very easy to replace. Arrived very quickly, very easy to install. Unplug the oven, loosen the two small screws (1/4 or #2 square drive) and tilt the old element up while slowly pulling it out until the two contacts open. Loosen them very carefully (friction fit) so the wires don't fall through the holes. Once the old element is removed, clean the oven while it's easy and make sure the wiring and contacts aren't rusted or damaged. Reassemble it in reverse order, remembering to tilt it when inserting. When delivered, the baking element has an irregular shape, a curve. We considered returning it but ultimately decided to give it a try given the cheap price from this supplier and the desire to actually cook in the oven after a few weeks when it failed.
