It's hard to find the truth in their advertising of this umbrella. This umbrella has thin plastic connectors that snap into place and the fabric is attached to what appears to be loosely knotted sewing thread. There are many false claims including that it will "pull" winds of 55mph, but it is not true! I'm a sailor so I know my wind!
