Good product! for tack

Five day trip through the High Sierras and this saddle pad saved me. That makes the ride comfortable, at least in the buttocks. It's strong, but care must be taken when taking it down not to stretch the elastic that runs under the cantle. During the trip, several people tried to buy it from me, but I didn't sell it!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • So far so good

This saddle pad is great! Fits perfectly on my saddle and doesn't slip

This saddle pad is great! Fits perfectly on my saddle and doesn't slip. With this Tempo saddle pad I can feel the difference in my back. Great product, great deal! I buy quite a few Revain horse products and appreciate the quality!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • A few small things

Worth every penny. for tack

I bought these pads because we had a vacation planned that included an 18 mile horseback ride in Belize. I haven't ridden in 45 years, but I do remember saddle sores from cross country riding when I was young. Yes, I was very sick after a long ride, but neither of us had saddle sores. The pads worked very well and the man we rode with bought them from me for his customers to use on long rides. Good product.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Not everything fits

the insert is damaged. It curled up in the liner and survived.

Bought in March. Now in May, the deposit has deteriorated. It twisted within the deployment and continued to deteriorate. I couldn't flatten it. I tried heating and shaping it with a hair dryer but it didn't budge. It is non-refundable. I would suggest looking for another type. With such a short return period, I assume that the manufacturers know something about the product and its quality and strictly limit the return period.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Works great!: Saddle Pads

I bought this for my old rock hard rope saddle. I had bruises on my buttocks and thighs from that old saddle because my horse has such springy gaits. I spend about 7 or 8 hours a week in the saddle and this gel pad has proven its worth! I've had it for a little over three months and it's still working just as well as the day I bought it. I would 100% recommend it, even my friends love it. It might not be very thick, but it's designed to absorb shock and certainly gets the job done.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Faulty

Disappointed - I wanted this lightweight pad to work

Just got back from a 7 day trip of driving about 6-7 hours a day westbound in Utah and Arizona. I am very disappointed with this tablet for two reasons. First, it's very thin. Second, it's not breathable enough to keep your buttocks dry and protected. I had serious injuries that made driving painful. Next time I'll go with my more expensive but durable gel wool fleece liner, which is heavy but offers the cushioning and breathability I need on a long ride.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Very comfortable - saddles and accessories

I bought this gel pad for my saddle because I had nerve pain in my back and a little pain in the saddle. We usually ride long distances (5 miles or more) and I needed something to relieve pressure on the pressure points on my glutes. ๐Ÿ˜ My saddle is a 14" saddle and this pad fits really well. It attaches to the horn of the saddle with a nylon loop and through the cannula of the saddle with a nylon elastic, so it easily fits a variety of saddle sizes. It lets easy to detach and attach.
