Poor design for my needs

The LEDs are very bright and fit perfectly in the socket. However; They are directional (straight ahead) and my console requires omnidirectional light for the reflectors to work properly. My sensors were unusably dark apart from a few dime bright spots. I ended up just using them for my blinders.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • No

Doesn't fit sensors

Says it fits a 2002 Ford Ranger but it doesn't. I spent an hour ripping my dash apart to find they didn't fit or even come close. Very annoying because now I have to assemble the complete dashboard and later disassemble it again. You should pay me for all the hours I wasted getting this mess over.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Don't do it best in lighting and electrics

It fried my whole cluster. I had a factory lamp, so I had it upgrade the entire cluster. It ran about half a day after playing after a few adjustments to get the polarity right, then it turned off my fuel gauge, the rest of the gauge lights and even my AC light. Control. I pray it's a blown fuse but I may need to replace the instrument panel.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Very expensive

Incredibly low light in Light Kit

These things look so good in the picture, but they aren't what they seem. Appearances can be deceiving and I felt cheated when I installed them in my car. I tried to contact the seller to see what he can do but the communication from his side is poor. If you're looking for really low light even at the brightest point of the cluster to watch a movie in your car, then this lamp is for you.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Incredible price

Requires another purchase to use, may require 194 bulbs to fit

I have a 2003 Chevy S10. He uses two sizes of onions. This item requires another purchase. This is the socket that the light should be plugged into. GM's electrics solder their bulbs into a socket in the instrument cluster, which requires both a socket and a bulb. This item can be used alone for heating and air conditioning control lighting.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No instructions

74 Bulbs/LEDs for 1998 Toyota 4Runner

Su owns a base 1998 Toyota 4Runner 2.7L RWD with bulb number 74. I have to say they play a hell of a role in the lighting. They're bright, easy to use, and if you know how to use a soldering iron, you can attach them to lightbulbs that work at the same voltage and amperage. No positives or negatives are marked either, but you will find out. My lady bought me the greens and I'm impressed! I have used them to replace the air conditioner bulbs, cigarette lighter, ashtray and grow tent bulbs. I can

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Legacy model

I was quite disappointed with the quality in them

I was quite disappointed with the quality in them. So much so that I ended up putting my standard bulbs back in. It took a while to install them but that was mainly because there was no direction as to how they were inserted (positive and negative etc) - having taken the dash apart to see which bulbs lit and which didn't' t then finally reassemble everything after replacing ALL the original lightbulbs, even in pitch black darkness these headlights dim heavily. The only benefit I've gotten from…

Pros
  • Stable results when tested
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model
