Weiler Block White Tampico Pointed Review

I had a brush like this many, many (40+) years ago and always wanted to find another one. It took a long time, but I remember that. Others say the smell is strong when wet. Hm... not for me. I'm not sure why my experience is different. Maybe my sense of smell is different? Or is it a smell that only bothers some people. Either way, it's a fantastic brush and I'm glad I have it.

This is an amazing scrubbing brush! I originally had a long handled plastic bristle brush for cleaning slate floors and the bristles were too hard to get into the cracks and the handle made it difficult to apply the right pressure. The bristles on this brush are flexible and the size is perfect for a slightly larger hand and this brush has made cleaning so much easier for me! On top of that I smeared two coats of oil to seal. All pros and cons for me - HIGHLY RECOMMEND this scrubbing brush.

At least the only one at a decent price. All is well. That's not very good quality. The wood isn't exactly hard, has "open" stripes and just looks cheesy. The bristles are natural, but also like the 2nd or 3rd quality. This is the size and shape I wanted. I don't use a cleaning brush for a lot of things or for serious heavy work, so that's fine with me. It doesn't look like the old one I had for many years. But I don't think a lot of what's being done these days is like the old stuff.

I haven't used this brush but I know for a fact that it stinks. I took it out of the plastic wrap and placed it on the edge of the shower at the back of the shower. A few hours later, while in the shower, I noticed a bad smell. It struck me - it smelled like armpits or an unclean body. He ended up drying me thoroughly and there was a very small chance I smelled awful. But if that were the case, the stench would have hit me much sooner.
