Description of Trulock Crimped Diameter Bristle Abrasive & Finishing Products by Weiler

THE TRUSTED BRAND: For use on straight grinders, stationary bench or pedestal grinders, and buffing lathes. REDUCED WIRE BREAKAGE: Crimped filaments help reduce wire fatigue caused by vibrations, bending, and flexing. GREAT UNIFORM BRUSHING: Gives consistent brushing as filament tips expose fresh cutting edges with normal use. HIGH TENSILE STRENGTH: Steel fill brushes are great for working on carbon steel surfaces. MADE IN THE USA: Wheel dia 8 in, width 3/4 in, fill dia .014 in, trim length 2-1/16 in, max rpm 6000.

Poor Quality Abrasive Brushes

These industrial and scientific brushes are a disappointment. While they may be affordable and suitable for light use, they lack the durability and strength necessary for heavy-duty applications. Their performance leaves much to be desired, and they fall apart easily, creating more work for the user.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Lack Durability and Durability

The wheel brush I received was not the one I ordered

I ordered an 8" Weiler Trulock wheel brush with a 3/4" mandrel hole. I have a 6" wire brush with a 1/2" x 5/8" hole. Someone in camp can't read.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

I do not recommend this.

Other Weiler brushes I've ordered for hand sanders have been of good quality, but this brush for a bench grinder isn't right. The density of the wire bristles appears quite fine. Not as good quality as Hitachi for example.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • No power
